The Atlanta Trumpet Ensemble was created in February
2004. The inspiration to create the group occurred
during a visit to the Western Carolina Trumpet Festival.
As the Atlanta Youth Trumpet Ensemble, the group gave
its first performance in April 2004. Currently, the
ensemble has over 12 participating members. The Atlanta
Trumpet Ensemble has performed for the opening of the
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Western Carolina Trumpet
Festival and the Georgia Music Educators Association
In-Service Conference to name a few. The ensemble has
also performed for private events, weddings and
non-profit events around the metro-Atlanta area.
