Derick Montgomery
and Hadrian Mendoza will continue their education at
Emory University.
Paul Marimon
will continue his education at Reinhardt College.
Emmitt Brayon and
Chris Naber recently performed at the National
Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, IN.
Alumni News
Sarah Amodeo is
a band director at Lanier Middle School in Gwinnett
County, GA.
Clayton Chastain is
returning to Schleswig-Holstein this summer and has
performed as substitute with the Atlanta Symphony this
season.
Taylor
Searcy is stationed in Yokosuka, JAPAN in the Navy.
He is currently the Repair Division Officer and will be
stationed in Japan for a few more years.
Adam Norris is
studying with Yvonne Toll at Georgia State University
and will attend the Suwanee Summer Music Festival.
Dominic Bruno is
a band director in Macon, GA.
Michael McDonald
is completing his studies at Georgia Tech and holding a
co-op with Delta Air Lines in the Propulsion Engineering
Department.
Tamara Dworetz is
a colleague at the Bard Conductor's Institute and will
conduct the Indiana University Brass Choir next year.
Stanford Thompson
graduated from The Curtis Institute of Music and is
currently completing projects in Reading (PA) and Meru
(KENYA). He currently holds an Abreu Fellowship at the
New England Conservatory.
Elder Josh Coffey
is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Milwaukee, WI.
Autumn Pethel is
will married in the summer of 2009. Congratulations!
Alan Taylor sang
the tenor solo for Bach's Magnificat with the
Alabama Symphony.
Adam Sonenshine
graduated from the University of Georgia and will begin
law school at Georgia State University in the fall.
Jacqueline Payne
will graduate in December 2009 from Georgia State
University with a degree in Public Policy Planning and
Economic Development. She will be an interm this summer
in Washington DC while taking classes at Georgetown
University's Institute of Business and Government
Affairs.
